It has been a general trend that Google always introduces a new version of Android along side with a new Nexus device. Finally assimilating both SMS and MMS with everything else that it is offered. Indeed, it substitutes the default Messaging app from the core of Android completely, yet you’ll be able to download a third-party SMS app and use that as an alternative.
