How to Add Your Article on Google News- a Short Perspective

Ever wondered how Google zeroes on the topics that show up on the Google news each day???Google scans thru a myriad of information that appears on the various known news brands across the globe & chooses those that appear frequently on these sites. But this fact does not hold true in all cases. What does Google do in case a piece of news is not sourced from a big brand, because not all news can be channeled from the most relied sources?

From a technical perspective Google has provided certain guidelines about the type of article that it can accept. The rules laid out by Google are quite simple, in order for Google to take notice of an article, the layout & format of the article must be easy for Google crawlers to read & decipher.

Google then checks for other parameters based on which the news gets published. Firstly Google checks for the relevance of the news article to be published. The content should be timely posted & the article of some relevance to its readers. The originality of the article, the author should clearly mention his/her contact email id & post a picture of his; the author must expertise on the topic of discussion.

When we publish an article on the web we do so with the common intention of the article ranking high on the Google pages. The article ranking in Google is directly related to the ranking of the author. The main idea is the more celebrated an author, the more expertise he has on a topic, the more celebrated his article will be.

Author transparency is very important. The writer of the article must have a picture of his/her, a valid email contact id, a Google plus page might be even better. The readers would generally like to know the origin of the article; this creates a sense of trust among their readers.

The number of article published by the author, the statics is important. This does not mean the author needs to publish numerous articles each day, but one meaningful article per day is enough. The quality of the work as in any other case is more important than the quantity of the work. This should be the guiding force in all your articles.

Once you site meets all the above parameters it’s time for you to submit your article formally. This might take a few weeks for Google to get back to you for ascertaining whether your site meets all the parameters.
